Charity Work

Every year, our Y6 pupils spend the first few weeks of the school year working in small groups, each championing a charity of their choice. This preparatory work leads to our Charity Talks, where each small group makes a presentation about their chosen charity in front of the whole school during Assembly. The whole school then vote for their charity of the year. We have in recent years supported charities such as the British Heart Foundation, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Helen & Douglas House by raising money through a very wide range of initiatives organised by our pupils (cookie sales, raffles, sponsored events, nail painting stalls, etc).
