Easter Exploration

6 April 2017

Children arrived this morning to find that the school has been transformed and throughout the building we have built areas to reflect different aspects of Holy Week.

The children have been very busy earlier this week using their skills to create flowers, footprints, bread and other resources linked to the biblical events which lead up to Easter and these have been combined to create areas for Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, Calvary and the empty tomb.  The final results of all their hard work are very beautiful.

Each class will travel around these locations over the course of the day to find out more about the events of Holy Week.  There will be sketching, music, discussion, reflection and prayer.
